Bonneville Salt Flats?

I was wondering if there were any Bonneville Salt Flats sort of events scheduled at some point around VOI? It seems like the flats are close and a run at a mile could be a ton of fun.

I haven't seen anything listed here and a search on the flats doesn't show anything happening that weekend.


Although, cleaning all the salt out of the car after wards could be a whole day ordeal. But running a mile on the flats in a Viper could be a once in a life time type event.

Was anyone else thinking this too?
