Borla introduced their new Viper header design at the SEMA show recently. The new design is a step tube header, all primary tubes are welded together and the collector is improved and features a single clamp to attach it. The outlet is 2.5", which Borla says gave the best all around torque and horsepower with this design, at part and full throttle. We do not have a price or availability at this time, but will let everyone know here when they're available. We will try to get a set on the dyno and test ourselves ASAP.

Their Viper cat back system has also been redesigned. It's still 3" with the same mufflers in the side sills and same outlet tips, but the pipe sections and hanger assemblies are different. This was done to allow the installer more flexibility during installation and eliminate possible hanger placement issues. The new cat-backs are available now and we've sent out two of them already.

Sean,

The new cat back, what's the price (if changed from the older design) and what's the product number?

Does it replace the the current 3" design?

Thanks

Same cat-back part #14663, same price and yes, it does replace the previous design.

I'll scan a diagram and post it.
