Broken Passenger Door Panel Handle

Has anyone elst had the passenger door handle break off? Any fix suggestions?

I have a 2004 Viper....

I noticed the plastic behind mine has a lot of cracks on it, but it hasn't fully gone yet. Since it has the decorative metal cover, you might be able to plastic weld it back together with some metal mesh to give it some extra strength. It generally looks terrible, but if it's covered and it works then I don't think it's a bad idea. I went after a lot of my broken trim clips with it a while back. My dash surround it started to get several cracks on it as well.

some guys have used screws and glues and all types of other things.

Unfortunately the only real fix is an entire new door panel. This is why I close my doors from the outside of the door, which is very annoying.
