I've searched all over the archives trying to find info on a ramp for Vipers. I thought I read somewhere on some specs for building ramps. Anyone got any info as to the approach angle so that the front doesn't scrape. I've got a friend who has a fab shop and he has offered to build me some ramps for the Viper. Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, 5 degrees. Mine are close to 8 degrees and all the Vipers clear including the lowest GT2.

Danny,

Was your C3 lower than our Vipers?

Probably not, but it wouldn't (easily) clear any of the store-bought ramps I found. Nor would they lift the car 10" or were wide enough for my tires. As these are made of wood, you can modify the plans to accomodate your "angle of dangle".

Can our Vipers clear Rhino Ramps or is it too steep? I was thinking about putting some 2x4" in the front of the ramp to clear but not sure... Thanks
