Does anyone know what the stock cam specs are for a Gen I vs. Gen II engine? Somebody from SCVA told me the duration was [email protected]". This can't be true.
Crower claims the stock GTS cam at 288/292, 212/219 @ .050", .504/.532 w/1.7 rockers (but the GTS has 1.6 rockers so lift should be ~ .474/.501).
It would make sense to me that the GTS cam which is supposed to be slightly longer in duration, but with less lift, should give a genI motor an extra 20-25 horsepower. Is this Hennesseys's "improved" cam for the RT10?
For the GTS, another 15 hp dif comes from the new head and higher compression and 15hp for the better exhaust.
Is all my information correct?
