Hey all, this has probably been posted here many times but I can't locate the answer anyplace with the search function here. I know the '96 and '97's had a different camshaft...can anyone tell me the lift/duration of the lumpy cams? Thanks all...

My '98 has a very lumpy cam as well. The stats on the cam's year to year don't show it, but your ears do. My car idles so rough it scares small children and the elderly... :headbang:

The overlap will effect how the car sounds. Competition Cams built their reputation 20 years ago on the 110 degree lobe centers, giving their cams a much more **** sound than their competition. 3-4 degrees can make a big dif in sound, and midrange torque, but at the sacrifice of idle quality and off-idle torque.

Same goes for my 98. Much lumpier than my 97. Dunno why.
