Hello all, this is a post to update everyone here as to the status of my DIY TT system.

Here several pictures of the latest install:

This system on a previous bone stock car(with the exception of 1.7 T&D’s) made 648 RWHP and 744 RWTQ on 5.75 PSI.

644John_D_Amico_dyno_s_648_RWHP_744_RWTQ-med.jpg

The average RWHP from 3000-5700 RPM was 581RWHP(89% of the peak#)

The average RWTQ from 3000-5700 RPM was 690 RWTQ(92% of the peak#)

The area under the curve illustrates what a properly sized pair of T-04 turbos can make through a well thought out, properly designed twin turbo system.

I am very excited to see the results of when this 2001 creampuff with AEM gets tuned by John Reed in the next couple of weeks!

I really liked everything about how John Reed wired up the car in the pictures. He is a super sharp guy who also just happened to make an adapter harness to make the AEM work with the stock gauges on the SRT-10.

I have to say that having a guy like John Reed available to tune these DIY TT’s is going to make it really easy for the average guy to get the most important part of the install handled like a pro.

John, please hurry up and get out to tune the Gary’s yellow 2001 RT/10!

With a better intercooler and the same conservative timing from the last car, we are hoping for around 625-650 RWHP on about 5PSI!

I am planning on offering several new options, both of which, involve ways to make safe, relatively big power at low boost for creampuffs:

1. By offering a larger compressor wheel and turbine wheel with the same housings, I feel we can make over 700 RWHP on a stocker at 5 PSI.

2. For those who are uncomfortable with cutting the car, I am working on a variation of the current system that allows for cool air intake in front of the core support(behind the fog lights) and water/methanol injection WITHOUT any cutting of the core support.

==> The water/**** will cool the intake charge as well as raise the octane for added safety for your cast piston cars.

The car pictured above has been fitted with knock sensors as well as air temperature sensors right off the compressor outlets to measure the air temperature before the intercooler.

Please note all my Front Mount TT systems place the stock air intake temperature sensor(normally in the stock airbox) after the intercooler to measure the air temperature right before it goes into the throttle bodies.

For those unfamiliar with the range of turbo sizes my system can accommodate, here is a brief summary from the smallest to the largest:

A pair of T-04 58mm E cover turbos capable of 590 HP each all the way up to a pair of T-04 76 GTS’s capable of 1150 HP each.

In real world terms, this means 650-700 RWHP with small turbos at low boost on a stock motor to 1400-1500+ RWHP with the big turbos on a built motor with appropriately upgraded fuel system and proper engine management.

Here is my 100% complete list of what you get with my entry level turbo system including engine management and fuel system upgrade:

-CPE ceramic coated, .120 wall 304 stainless turbo manifolds(turbo headers), up pipes and .065 wall 304 stainless steel downpipes with lifetime warranty.

==> These turbo manifolds are strong enough to hold me up!

The real test will to put TOOOFST onto just one turbo!

The logistics of the crane to get him up there and the liability if he falls has prevented this test so far! LOL!

644me_standing_on_turbos_straight_on_jpeg-med.JPG

- CPE stainless steel heat shields with CPE logo.
- Turbine and downpipe heat blankets
- Precision Turbo T-04 turbos with 1 year factory warranty
-Tial 44mm wastegates to properly modulate low boost applications without boost creep w/V-band clamps for easy installation.
-CPE twin Super-CFM , inverted cone velocity stack cool air intake custom air filters.
- CPE top to bottom, highly efficient air-air intercooler with tapered end tanks for more efficient airflow inside core.
- CPE signature siamesed 304 stainless steel polished Y-pipe with Tial 50 mm blow off valve.
-CPE fuel rails with hard anodized O-ring fittings with stainless steel mounting stanchions and stainless steel socket cap allen head bolts.
-CPE stainless steel throttle cable bracket and stainless steel socket cap allen head mounting bolts.
-Kenne Belle boost a pump.
-Low impedance injectors, fuel lines/fittings and resistor box.
-Oil feed and drain lines.
-All vacuum lines
-Vec 2( AEM optional and highly recommended)
-stainless steel cross-member polished to chrome.
-Installation DVD.
-Safety wire pliers and safety wire to assist professional installation.

I have recently had some interest in making a similar system for the Gen 3’s and will be ready shortly to adapt the Gen 2 system to the Gen 3. Anybody interested in having a front mount, fully upgradeable, TT for their Gen 3, please call me at 630-878-3907.

I am also about to make a run of 5 of the Gen 2 TT systems for customers who have already given me deposits. Anybody interested in one of these systems which should be ready for delivery in 6-8 weeks should let me know

Forget getting Scotty up on the manifolds, I am still trying to figure out how you got up there!? Very nice looking system Paolo. With all of the r+d you have done and then to build a TT system, I hope you make lots O' money and put grins on lots of Viper owners every time they mash the gas!
PS That sure looks like Waylands old Viper.

Paolo,

It was great working with you! I hope you are able to make the trip down when we get to tune it. Should be fun!

Guys, this kit is sweet, and I can't wait to put it to the test soon on the dyno. Paolo has really invested some time into this kit and it shows.

IEATVETS, thanks! My goal is to put smiles on everybodys' face when they hit it!

You would not believe how clean that car is! I do not think he has ever driven it on a dirty road!

Tony, I can certainly picture you going to school hoodless! Thank you!

TOOF, I do not know about muscle mass, but I am thinking more of sugar weight from the Krispy Kremes!

Ralph, Thank you! What do I have to do to get you over here to see it in person and go for a ride? :nana: :nana: :nana:

John, It was a pleasure working with you!

I can't wait for you to tune Gary's car!

Re: Castellano Performance Engineering DIY TT Recent Installation Pics/Upd

Hi all !!! Sorry I took so long to post, but that's my yellow 2001 RT/10 with Paulo's TT kit. This thing is so awesome that pictures don't do it justice. I'm still waiting on John Reed to tune it, have to wait on his schedule, so I can't say how it runs yet, but, if it runs half as good as it looks, I'll have a permanent smile! It is designed and built with common sense and it shows. There is tons of cooling air space everywhere, all the bends are sweeping for no back pressure, it's even built strong enough to hold Paulo and all the parts and pieces. The routing of the pipes, the heat management and the overall simplicity is genius. I cannot say enough about Paulo and this setup. No pressure sale, and the delivery time was way quicker than the other kits I had discussed before deciding on this one. Like I said, you 've got to see it to believe it. Everyone should have one of these.. Thanks all..GH

If you are spending that much of your hard earned money for that permanent smile, at least spell his name right. It's Paolo not Paulo. :D Post some #'s when you get it dynoed.
