I flew to LA and picked up my car on June 29, 2004 so next week is my three year anniversary as a Viper owner. I paid $40k for the car and after $10k+ and a lot of hours I am proud to say it is a MUCH nicer and better car now than when I got it.
I work for a company that owns car washes so we have 100s of detailers. To celebrate I had two go over the car this morning (I felt guilty having someone else work on the car so I hand washed it myself last night to get it ready). Then tonight after it cooled down I did something I never did in these last three years - I got out the cover I got with the car and put it on (like you folks in the north, summer is our "not so fun to drive a Viper" time here int he desert). I had washed it and sealed it in a plastic bag years ago so it was ready for duty.
Totally clean. Full of high-tech artificial leather scent. Protected from dust. Thanks for three years, you deserve it. I thought about selling it. No way. If I have a life emergency then I'll sell it. But just too much love right now.
