Center console speaker

98 RT/10, does the speaker grill pop out for me to replace the speaker or do I need to remove the seats and the interior peices to get to it?

I did a search, couldn't find anything.

Chuck....the grill pops out and screws hold the speaker in.. I just installed a JL in mine..No prob.. John

If you are going to replace spkr. you should put a JL audio sub about $80.00 & build an enclosure behind it to seal it off.

BTW will that JL audio sub be able to take endless highway miles at the 35 volume setting? AC/DC, Aerosmith and Ted need to be loud!

35?! I don't go much past 20, wasn't sure how much that stereo could take! LOL!

BTW, it's amazing how easy the speaker cover comes off actually.
