just finished my first spark plug change. :2tu: just got my 2000 r/t a month ago w/ 14.5k miles. these were for sure the original plugs. the wires were dated 1/03 so i didn't change them out, and since this was a leased car i figure they didn't change the plugs. overall, not too bad. #9 (driver side closest to the windshield) and #10 (pass. side closest to the windshield) were the hardest to get out. #10, the last one i took out, actually broke at the tip, but eventually came out. really glad i did it now. they looked pretty worn.... dying to start it up, but it's snowing like crazy outside... :p

what is the cake that forms on the plugs? almost like the battery acid. how much will this improve performance if any? have a great week!
