Has anyone else had this problem with their key fobs? When in your pocket, they turn the alarm on or off with just the movement of walking and the pressure of your pants pocket pressing against them? That is how my viper suffered an act of vandalism.
I was leaving home and sat in another car (that came to pick me up) to make an appointment; the key fob shut off the alarm resulting in someone later being able to smash the tailight and turn signal lamp on my vehicle without the alarm going off.
I own a '99 and would like to know if the key fobs were changed later on because of this, or if anyone else has experienced a problem similar to this.
