Clear Coat on Wheels coming off!

Has anyone experienced the clear coat on the wheels starting to peal off between the spokes?

Not yet, but one of my four wheels has a coating issue. It's very different than the other three, and actually picked up brush marks after cleaning! The clear is (or was) very soft, like the activator for the hardening wasn't mixed properly on that day.

Could you show a picture so we know what to look for. I think mine are okay but wil take a closer look.

The clearcoat is gonna eventually peel...expecially if you ever have to change a tire...Bite the bullet now and get them chromed...

I had personally seen some Prowler wheels done by them, unbelievable, 1200 in price three years ago.

I had that happen on my 2000 wheels, Dodge replaced them under warranty.

Good comment...no flame...I would be surprised if Dodge would not do the same thing now! No problem with my wheels.

Just get the wheel replaced under warranty. I had the same thing done. I just have never gone in to get the darn thing changed LOL! The wheel is just sitting there. Use your warranty, that is what it is there for. Dodge is pretty good with changing parts. They changed my wheel, shift knob, and steering wheel do to abnormal wear.
