Clear tape on Rt/10 for roof

The clear tape on then top of the car for protection when putting the top on and off has a couple of smears in it (got put there when placing the top on to wash the car)

. Is there something i can use to remove the smears or do I replace the tape?

Wish I could help you, I just wash it without the top on and with the windows up. Carefully.

yes I do have power windows.
