The auction says it is a file pic, so I wouldn't worry about that...

I bought this clutch for one of my Vipers, and had Mike Robbins at Ringgold install it. He said it looked like a factory part. Only thing weird about most of the Ebay kits is that the alignment tool doesn't work, but you could probably borrow one pretty easily from someone...

Do you recall which EBAY seller you bought the clutch kit from and why the alignment tool would not work? I may have a rear seal leak and if I'm going to fix that I figure it would only make sense to replace the clutch for the $175.

Also, any feedback on lightweight flywheels?

Thanks - Time to drive the Viper like you stole it as winters right around the corner for us midwesterners!

I actually bought my Ebay kit from JackB (who bought it from Ebay, but then decided to go with a stronger clutch). I'd imagine that any of the sellers with high ratings would be OK, though.

Others may be able to tell you why the alignment tool doesn't work... I can't help you there. As for lightweight flywheels, I know they were useful for my Supra to assist in turbo lag. However, the flywheel/clutch combo was noisier (it rattled) in neutral. I'm wondering if the case is the same with the Viper?

does anyone know the size of the inpt shaft on the transmission and the spline count. I found a really good deal on a clutch and wonder if it will fit.
