Eddie, we offer a dual Kevlar clutch that can handle over 800hp and 10k rpm. It engages just like the stock clutch and won't chatter. If you're interested in pricing, send me an e-mail at '[email protected]'

The 94 RT has 25,000 miles on it. The clutch is still OK, however, Dodge is putting a new Transmission in the car. Thank god for Extended Warranty. I have heard the clutch will last 25-40,000 miles. I figure I might as well change it while they are in there and save on the labor later. It also gives me the opportunity to put in an Alluminum Fly Wheel. I think the Road and Track article says they go at 25,000 miles.

Gator,

Road and Track editors, techies, etc. are yuppies who can't even change their own oil...For them to make a statement that a Viper clutch will go between 25,000 - 40,000 miles is utter stupidity. A clutch will only last as long as you beat it. If you drive it like an old lady with a weak *** you may get 70,000 miles or better out of it. Put an idiot behind the wheel who doesn't know how to drive a stick, you may go through one in 10,000 miles...

There are three magazines that are totally worthless: Motor Trend, Road and Track, and Car and Driver. Three yuppie magazines ...

Yes, our dual Kevlar clutch is more durable, lasting approximately 50% longer than a typical organic Viper clutch. Of course, it depends how you drive the car, but it _will_ certainly outlast a stock Viper clutch.
