Comparing corvette forums to this forum

The most noticeable difference is that this forum has nicer people. Corvette Forums is more active however. Ohh and this forum has a gallery and a chat. Vette forums doesn't. And the biggest difference is the Corvette vs Viper talk, They all like to ignore anything about the viper. When I post anything about the viper in the vette forums. They get pissed and say "Who cares?" in the masses. Or use the "Im with stupid sign"

I cannot disagree with you more. I have met some of the best people/friends that I know from the Corvette Forum (Northeast Section). And I think most people over there appreciate the Viper and all performance cars for what they are. That being said, there are alot more people on the CF so I am sure you will find that many more A holes as well. There are A Holes in every group/forum, this one certianly not being exempt. But all in all I think car people are some of the best people out there.

I also disagree, while I rarely post on either and just signed up recently here, I have been watching both for some time. I think there are lots of great folks on both forums. I really hate to see any sniping between the two groups of owners that goes past friendly rivalry. Truth is they are both great cars and I feel blessed that I have owned both.

I must say that the people that I know on the Vette forum are all good to go. Off Topic is a risky place in any forum. Try to go over to the "other Viper forum" and pop off in the "Anything Goes" section and see how friendly Viper owners can be.

That's right, who cares about vettes, there just winter cars anyway and they come with plow attachments from the factory!

The biggest difference I've noticed is trying to get valid information on the 'Vette' sites is very difficult. Maybe it's the quantity of people that post, but 1000's of so-called 'experts' having different facts/opinions makes it very difficult to gain knowledge. Then you have the 100's of people that don't know squat, but are always tossing there .02. Filtering the BS from Fact becomes all but impossible, or at least very time consuming (unless you're already very knowledgeable about the car).

Seems on the VCA you get solid information 90+% of the time for repairs, warrantee info., and upcoming models. And it doesn't take 10 hours to filter the BS. Usually a quick search and you get SOLID info. The trolls get identified very quickly, and are usually shunned from the site.

Oh yeah, and we don't list every freak'in mod down to the wax we use, and hurt download time with pictures after every post. Geez, is that annoying.
