Everything I read, says to upgrade the cooling fan on my 97 to a 99 - 02 cooling fan. Is this a direct bolt in? Where is the best place to buy one? Anyone have a used one for sale?
Thanks
Dave

Both Roe Racing and Parts Rack carry these. They are also occasionally on ebay. I believe it is a simple bolt-in.

Might as well upgrade that radiator and hoses while you're in to it...

I already did the hoses. I saw a alum. radiator on ebay for $449 item #110172151286. It looks pretty nice. Says made in USA by ET corp. Almost $200 cheaper than anything else I've seen. Anybody useing one of these? If I bought this, it's like getting a free fan.
Thanks
Dave

Be careful of the bargain radiators. I bought a Ron Davis from Parts Rack and yes, spent the $200.00 extra.

I would give Jon B a call there for a class on manufacturing quality before you spend $ anywhere. You might change your mind on what is and what is not a bargain.

That's why I always ask before I buy. There are some good deals out there and of course stuff not worth wiping yourself with.
Thanks

You can get one at any dodge dealership, or call JonB. I did it myself, and I'm no mechanic. Took about 45 minutes with a lot of measuring and checking. If you're more comfortable fixing cars... shouldnt take more than 20-30 minutes. The hardest part was the wiring harness, which can be a little tricky.

Do a search, there's some pretty good how-to guides here.
