Everyone may recall my recent intro and complaint about how my 04 SRT10 was not as stable on the road as I had hoped on my drive home from DFW. The car is a ART American Racing Tech in Buda, TX and it looks like it will need new rt. upper control arm and rt stearing knuckle. They think the previous owner must have hit a huge pothole at some point b/c evidence of the rt front wheel repair was present. They said that grease was all over the above parts as it had been leaking for a while. Looking forward to feel how these cars when in good cond handle and maybe now I will feel more stable a high speeds. I was white knuckling it the whole way to Buda going 70-80mph. The car will also get a centerforce clutch and aluminum flywheel as clutch seems to be nearing end of useful life. On the bright side the shop confirmed the car was othewise in good shape with no evidence of prior performance mods pealed off and I'm glad I picked it up wholesale b/c it would require a small investment so soon.
