I kinda understand where the OP is comming from because it took me 10 years to save up and finally buy a viper but in all of the excitment I did not do a ton of research about the differences in the gen II years and I ended up buying a 2000 gts which I love very much, but when I started reading on this very great forum I started to have second thoughts about what I just bought, a viper with no abs and no forged motor. I have now owned my viper for 2 years and I have came to realize that it does not matter what year viper I own because they are all awsome cars and everyone should feel very lucky to own one.
