Dodge Viper..call it anything but a sportscar!

Was I ever torqued off after reading an editorial review
published by Edmunds.com on the 2000 Viper GTS!!!!!!!!!
They concluded by saying" call it anything but PLEASE PLEASE do not call it a sportscar!"

I sent the editor an email and I wish everyone here who owns
one of these fine SPORTSCARS would do the same!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In my opinion Dodge Vipers set the stardards for sports cars. I think they've won plenty enough US and international races over the last several years. Someone give the chap a pair of specs, I don't think he can see...

Controversy sells. I don't put much stock in what any critic says. All mass media will sacrifice their true belief to sell, sell, sell. It's fun to laugh about though.

The Viper rules and everybody knows it.

I did not read the article but I have to assume that what the author was trying to say is that the Dodge Viper is so far superior for the money that it cannot be classified just as a sportscar but something more, perhaps on it's own pedestal. A comparison would be that the Beatles are not a rock and roll band, but somethig much more. I believe that the Dodge Viper might go down as the "Car of the Century" just like Satisfaction by the Rolling Stones was voted as the song of the century. Many people have been quoted as saying the Stones are the greatest rock and roll band of all time and I might agree however the Beatles will probably always be known as the greatest group of all time.My conclusion is that the Dodge Viper Is Satisfaction. No recount necessary.
