Nitro187
Viper Owner
I'm going nuts trying to figure out the drive cycle for my 01' Viper. I put a new battery in my Viper, figuring it wasn't a big deal regarding the computer... seems how I had a few months for the car to run through the emissions tests, so that it would pass the smog test in the spring...well.... here I am, a few months later... still not finished all the tests.
I hooked up my ODB2 computer to the car, and I can see that all tests ran fine, except for the catalyst monitor... it's still 'not complete' yet... which is not a fail, it just hasn't run that test yet under it's criteria. Either way, I've read a document on how to get those conditions met... only problem is, it's for Chrysler vehicles... not a Viper specifically... so I was assuming it's the same; I was wrong. I've ran through this test at least 10 times, to the T... and it's still saying "not ready".
Does ANYONE know what I can do to get this thing to pass? ******** I hate emission tests!!!
FYI, here is the Chrylser drive cycle: http://www.obd2.com/support/reprog/downloads/chrysler/chry-imset_procedure.pdf
