Does the stuff you spray on your plate work.

We now have photo radar in our city. I don't have a problem with the system nailing people who drive like @ssholes, but when you get a ticket for driving the regular speed in a school zone at midnight (not reduced speed), I think our city is overdoing it.
So, back to my question. Does anyone know wheather or not the spray you put on your plate works?

I've heard that the sprays DO NOT work. Could be wrong.

At the local parts store, I saw a awesome license plate cover that makes the numbers unreadable. From behind the car at eye level..they are readable. So, at known radar camera angles you only see a blank frame where the numbers are. Someone on ebay sells them for around $10.

Are there a lot of your MY and color Vipers around where you live? Around here, even if they didn't get my plate number, they'd know where to send the ticket.
