I have posted about this before, but maybe there is someone out there that can help. 2000 gts. When I push the drivers side door button nothing happens. All other door handles work in and out. I took both doors apart. I switched knobs-nope. I took the solinoid connection that attaches to the back of the button, runs down inside of door and plugs into another plug-I switched these from door to door-nope. I cut the plugs and hard wired the connection-nope. I'm at witts end. This car has a clifford alarm. Could it be the alarm that is not unlocking the drivers door, or does the alarm operate both doors from one junction?

Thanks Chuck. I'll call him. I'm in Ca. I'm going to a Viper shop on sat. to put my car on a dyno. Maybe he will have an idea. I talked with Tator and he was perplexed as well.

I have a 2000 R/T as well and suffered the same humilation on both doors.
2 probable causes -
I had the luxury of actually talking to a Technician at the Viper Plant - yea
sometime in 2000 the micro switches were suseptable to water ingestion via the small rubber caps. Also the door harnesses can become crimped and short out.
Fortunately warranty got my doors opening again. :D

I had the same thing on my car. It was the wire harness that feeds from the body to the door. This is a common cause for a rare problem. Good Luck

Just had mine in for same thing. I told them when I went in that I thought it was in the harness between the body and the door. They took the door apart and the dash panel, checked the door control module and everything else. Two days later they found out it was a broken wire between the body and the door. Imagine that
