My driver's door also requires firm pressure (almost a slam) to close. I spent two hours adjusting to no avail. I did improve it slightly but there's always the risk of damaging the paint so I left well enough alone. Good luck, Bobby

My drivers side also needs a firm push/pull to latch all the way but the passenger side closes with ease. You could also check the rubber weather seal under the door that comes in contact to the black side sill. Remove the striping and see if it closes easier.

Re: Door On My Snake Is Giv\'n Me Fits-HELP!

vipergts,
I have an R/T and too have had a problem with only the driverside door from day one!!! my door was scraping the side sill and required a slam to make it shut.
when I took it to the dealer for service the first thing he said it was worked on. I was like what???????
It is new he said the black paint on the screw that attaches the door to the car were used so the paint wore off.
So the dealer that sold me the car or at the end of the line tried to fix it from hitting.
He had to shim the door to raise it up a bit.
Now 2 months later it is again starting to shut hard.
Back to the dealer........
Good luck on a fix.
Best wishes
JIM
