Door Sill Plate Installation

Do the factory black sill plates come off to install aftermarket sill plates? Plus there is the clear plastic protector on the black ones that seems to go all the way around the side muffler covers. What do I need to do to install the plates?

The sidesills are all one piece. From yor pic it appears that the lip towards the inside goes up under the rubber surround then bolts to the factory holes on top of the existing side sill.

Yes, that is all one piece. Part of the side sill. The sill protector you show there just screws on ontop of it, with the same screws. Three screws slightly under the rubber door gasket. Unscrew and remove those three screws. Slide your sill protector in. Replace the screws.
