Driver door chimes, problem with key cylinder, ok. Headlamps fog up occasionally, ok. 1/2 quart every 500 miles, ok. Best ******* car I've ever owned, ok. Interior lights will not dim out normally, 15-30 min failsafe by BCM, but NOT ok.

If you have problems with the door chimes, key cylinder, and interior lights, I'd be looking at the door switches or the BCM as a whole as the problem. A lot of those issues seem like they could be related. What's the history on the car? Almost sounds like a flood victim with a lot of gremlins to track down.

hey easy on the Gen 3. Going roadster like intended or closed canopy when needed is a plus. I received diagrams of the key cylinder, like I'm gonna take that thing apart. I too think it's a BCM issue. That looks hard to get at. Will post on Alley.
