Hello all, I have heard sort of a scraping sound when I turn the car off. I don't know if this is normal, but it worries me a little. The car runs fine, and I have been chinging the oil every 3000. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

It could be your flywheel rubbing , get under and look through the cover for fresh scrape marks. Mine was warped and made a little noise and then blew to bits when I put the blower on. No harm done, just had to get new parts. Your starter should be checked also.

My 97 had the fan assembly shift down and was almost touching the radiator. Like Buckete Viper said, it could be the fan.
