Alright I am doing some research for my Dad, he doesn't have any clue what exhaust to get and neither do I, we are new to the game! Let us know your ideas. The dealer we bought it from in Roanoke, mentioned Corsa and not Borla. Please let me know!! Thanks- Austin

Popular exhausts are Corsa, Mopar (Borla I think but with tips having an etched viper logo, belanger (louder), snake Oyl, random tech.... There may be some others from tuners.

High Flow cats or no cats is recommended no matter what you do, for a little HP but much heat reduction in the sills and footwells.

Even a muffler delete is popular replaced with an X pipe.

Most here would say go to a VCA meeting or Viper days event and listen to how various exhausts sound until you find what you like. I would guess Corsa is the most popular. with quality, no drone and not too loud exhaust sound.

The cat back exhaust alone is mainly for sound and not for added HP. If you are trying to improve HP I think a catback with high flow cats and headers is the way to go. By the way you may as well begin with the simplest modification the K and N filters (or Roe Racing has some which may even be better) and smooth tubes (chromed ones look nice) are inexpensive and easy to install and gain an additional 5 to 10 HP.

Aside from all the mods you can make to gain a little HP, the best performance adder is track time in the car. Such as Viper Days.

Expected HP gains with mods:

I personally went with Corsa for a cat-back system. Pretty much any cat-back that starts with a "B" is going to be a "Boomer" and be pretty loud. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me.

Sloooooo down! Use that search feature. all your questions have been asked before. Some are asked monthly.
Get to a VCA event, Viper Days event, or a gathering of Vipers at *******, and listen for yourself. Exhaust sound is sooooooo subjective. What I may think is awsome, you may thing sounds awful. There are many systems out there and all kinds of combibations of hi-flow cats, Snake Oyl sub, with or without cats, Corsa, B&B, Borla, Belanger, etc.
Most of the systems that start with "B" boom or drone. Corsa does not. Gains are all similar so bang for the buck on a cat-back is not to real. About 1k or more for 20 or less hp.
Good luck!
