I know this may sound silly I have a 95 viper and the side exhaust does not get that hot. I drove the hell out of it today for about 2 hours and could still touch it without getting burned. I think it still has the factory system since it sounds like a dodge pickup. Reading other threads I think it should get as hot as my motorcycles. Could this be an indication that something else is amiss? Just had new plugs, wires and a fuel pump installed. Thanks for any info.:dunno:

Post a video. If your exhaust isn't hot and the engine runs smooth and has lots of power then your cats have probably been removed. The stupid heat is because of the Government required 4 chamber Cats our cars are required to have to pass emissions for a new car. That is why the first modification NEEDED is Hi-flow or Cat Delete.
