I'm thinking about changing my exhaust set-up. Currently have SVSI headers, Roe cats and Borla muffler. Want to remove cats and add a resonator to reduce sill temperature. Thinking about the resonator to quiet the system down. Has anyone used a system like this. Are the resonators effective in reducing the noise level. I have side exhaust and always drive *******. Don't want anything excessively loud. Thanks.

I did exactly this mod. B&B headers and B&B 3'' headback. I had straight pipes instead of the cats and the sound was too agressive. I had complaints in the neighbourhood. I put two Roe resonators in place of the straight pipes. The sound is still good but less agressive. However the temperature increased a little.
