Extended Warranty Question

Did a search and did not find what I was looking for. I am the 2nd owner of a 2001 RT/10 with 54K miles and am thinking about an extended warranty. Any way to find out if the previous owner had one from Dodge? Anybody had good experience with aftermarket extended warranty companies or is there any way I can get a Dodge extended warranty if I am out of warranty? Any help??? Thanks!
