I really doubt that a new fascia came from Chrysler already painted. When I replaced mine, it came unpainted (black). Make sure they didn't put a used fascia on there that might have been repainted aftermarket. It's the repair shop's responsibility to make sure that the stripes match - regardless of how they are spaced. They shouldn't have let it out the door if the stripes didn't line up. I'd say this is something they should fix.

Had you bought your facia from PartsRack, (or even asked for advice!) we would have told you:

T H E Y E A R M A T T E R S ! !

The stripes on 96 RT and GTS are unique to that year/model.

Your recourse? THEY SHOULD FIX IT ! Insurance may back you! (if an insurance deal.....) You have an absolute RIGHT to the correct part......the value of the car may be diminished without it
