Fan Temp.

Burped my 94 today and was watching it idle to see if the fan came on. It took awhile for it to come on. It comes on when the needle almost touchs the yellow
on the temp. gage and takes it to 190 and shuts off back on at the yellow. Is that normal and can you adjust when it comes on. I have 180 deg. thermastat in the car.

The fan comes on at 214-218 and then goes off at 199 and the 180 thermo WILL not change that, nor can you adjust when the fan comes on a stock PCM.

What you have is normal!

chucks right, but if you install the Roe fan control kit and add a simple circuit (like I did) you can have manual control of the fan, which is awesome.
