its going in something else.

Wouldn't you be better off putting the numbers-matching drivetrain back in this car rather than having it somewhere else? The guy (or gal) that buys a motorless FE will surely want that motor, correct? Seems strange to take one of the more collectible Vipers and move the motor elsewhere rather than just fix up a crate motor for whatever your project is. Mind you, I have no idea of the history here, but having been in the collector car market most of my life (as a hobby) it just seems kind of backwards. Just curious!

My thought exactly. Why not just buy a motor for your project and sell a pristine FE as is?

because im not pulling the motor back out. im tired of this car, i want to sell it. if it sounds insane im sorry, thats just me.
