I don't understand why your post subject has smilies. What's so funny dude? Maybe you should trade DOWN to a 300C and put in some more smilies. Now that would be very :D

The top-center of the fascia looks like it was forced into the front edge of the hood from the hit. The bottom edge of the fascia is damaged (apparently) full-width. These things *could* legitimately be explained by the alignment rack, but the steering way out of whack? Not hardly. I would check the front tires for flat spots. Someone probably took it for a joy ride, went too hot through a big dip or pothole, slammed the brakes on and jammed the fascia up into the hood. Then, they limped it back to the store and concocted a story about how they "had" to move the car.

You hit the nail on the head. And I'll put in a smiley for good measure. :D

After more inspection, passenger side door is off alignment and wobbly and rear portion of hood is loose! I'm thinking frame...

It is leaving to Archer Dodge by flatbed as we speak....or type.

I will keep the board posted.

I hereby swear if it is totaled I will NOT buy a C6 Smilely face :)

hey, valhalla, i thought you would be in mexico by now...

i have to take my car to a shop for the 1st time since i got her a couple weeks ago... needs inspection. i called ahead today and then visited to meet with manager and go over the entire gameplan of exactly what they will be doing with my baby. we then scheduled a date for first thing this thursday. i explained your dilemma to the manager & he inspected his equipment & the car. he also assured me they will be extra careful with her. either way, she will not be out of my sight & nobody will be taking her for a drive unless they drive over me.

i owe much to all my viper bros on this website for best preparing me. you guys rock!

Dang dude. Look at your eccentric cams on the wishbones! Are you really running 2 degrees negative camber up front on the street? If you're looking for strange handling culprits, I'd start there!

BTW, the only Vipers you will find that don't have some level of scratched air dams and/or lower front frame horns are the ones that never get driven.

Of course not. That is the way I got it back from Firestone. The impact of the accident must be A LOT worse than they claim.

*** My appologies in advance ..I don't want to be like MalibuExec ..but I need to use upper case letters to make my point. **

DUDE .. THEY DROVE YOUR CAR AND CRASHED IT !!!!

LOOK AT THE DAMAGE .. IT COULD ONLY HAPPEN BY SOMEONE WHO WAS DRIVING YOU CAR LIKE AN IDIOT AND CRASHING IT !!!

CONTACT A LAWYER !!!! AND THEIR CORPORATE OFFICE !!! ... and THE FRANCHISE OWNER !!!

Word of advise... in the future ..stay in the service bay and keep an eye on your Viper while it is in the shop. That's what I always do.

Best of luck. But please contact a lawyer, you won't get anywhere with them until they feel threatened with legal action.

Re: Firestone F \' upped my Snake :( now what?.... With pics

ok dudes, took my car this morning to shop. she never left my sight. in fact, i was w/ technician on shop floor the whole time. i expressed my concerns again to tech about low clearance & valhalla's dilemma. good f'n thing. when tech tried to get car on ramp, he was going extra extra slow & it appeared as though there would be enough clearance but within a few inches of the ramp, it was downright obvious that the bottom fascia would've  DEFINITELY  grabbed the lip of the ramp. Having seen that, in my non-professional opinion, I can certainly see that the damage to valhalla's snake COULD have been caused by a spirited attempt to get car on ramp. bottom part of fascia could've grabbed & impacted up into the hood & thus buckling it out. next he tried getting car on traditional lift w/ arms & still not enough clearance. finally had to resort to stacking cardboard boxes & putting under all four wheels to gain enough clearance to get lift arms under. don't know how you dudes w/ lowered vipers do it.

anyways, thought i'd post & say thx to valhalla. he saved my viper's life. :D keep us posted.
