Please post your methods for fixing scratches. I picked up some viper red touch up paint at the dealer today. I bumped into my soft top backing into the garage the other day and rubbed the paint down to the plastic a spot about half the size of a dime.

I have applied the touch up paint, but it looks like crap, do you guys wet sand? Polish with abrasives? what do you do to get a decent finish back?

Since it does not sound like a chip I am guessing Langka won't help you. I would try blending it a little better via a rotary and some mild polish or if that does not work maybe try sanding the area with some 3000 grit and then restoring the shine. Probably the best you are going to get without having a body shop spot paint with some color base coat and then reclearing the entire panel which is probably your best bet.
