I will not mention the vendor.....
But when do you give it up? I bought a full set of mats (incl. trunk) for a pretty penny. Looked great! Quality merchandise. Perfect color match. Only the truck mat didn't fit. Returned it and a new one was sent. OK. Cost me for the return postage. Floor mats fit reasonably well....but not quite perfect. Fine, I can live with that.
18 months later the stitching around the sneaky pete embroidery (VERY large 9") starts to tear on the driver's side mat. I'm ticked! Shouldn't they last a bit longer than that? It's not the time, it's the use, right?
So they willingly repair the mat. OK. Cost me for the return postage, but no charge for the repair.
Now, 3 months later, the same embroidery stitching is tearing again...only in a different spot! I'm about to order another pair of mats (again for bouku bucks) from a different vendor rather than send these back for repair, again...simply because I'm thinking that these mats LOOK great, but are just poorly made. And I don't want this to go on and on.
Am I off base here? Just curious before I throw another $300 at the car.
Has anyone else had this kind of problems with the EXPENSIVE (thick rubber backed) floor mats?
