Frame Recall?

I'm shopping for a 96/97 gts.
I've heard about a frame recall....

Can anyone tell me what the recall was?
How do you know if someone has had it taken care of?
If it hasn't been taken care of yet, what are the steps? costs?

MY advice: If you find a car, run the VIN to see if recall was done

...AND, get under the Viper yourself to be sure. If the recall was done, BE SURE that you can reach up and access the oil filter as many were done incorrectly (triangular plate put on wrong side of cross-member thereby blocking future access to the oil filter).

Finally, have a Certified Viper Tech inspect the car BEFORE you buy it...such as Tom Sessions in NC.

If recall not done, have Mr. Sessions do it at no cost to you.

3 recalls, status - incomplete.

Do you have mr Sessions contact info? I see that he may be near the Raleigh area, but that's all that was mentioned in that thread.
