I haven't started driving my Viper yet for the season. But I've been getting it ready. I had to move some cars in the garage today. SO the Viper was sitting in the driveway idling for about 10 minutes. When I got it back in its spot and got out of the car, I smelled gas. I looked around and saw a few drips. Then I looked under the car. Gas was dripping from under the engine. What the :curse: is this? It was dripping from about 12" behind the back of the oil pan. It was a pretty steady drip. It formed a good sized puddle. But the dripping stopped after about 10 minutes or so.

Any ideas, comments, concerns?

The supply line is a quick connect on drivers side in the tunnel. It has braiding but at 11 yrs old? I can see it dripping until the pressure fully bled off, so the time sounds about right.

Try tracing the line down from the intake and see if you feel the leak.

If it is the line, it is not too big of a deal to replace.

You might not have to replace it. First thing I would do is heck the QD and if it is leaking, take it apart and re-connect. Most of the time, this will fix it. Otherwise, go for the replacement.
