Guys,
I'm not sure I want to do this yet as I love my Gen I, but I got this car because I was planning on doing a lot of track racing, and everything about my 94 RT/10 is race ready (big brakes, adjustable suspension, dual fans, big radiator, oil coolers, and a million other things.) I don't have any paperwork on the car from SVS in terms of what was done (I could never get them to give me anything since I was not the original owner that did it) but Nathan and his dad at DodgeVipersForSale told me it had a package from SVS that was similar to their Stryker 620 package. If I remember correctly, either the ad or the owner himself told me over $140K (which includes the purchase price of the car when it was new) had gone into the car prior to me buying it.
I bought the car for $48K and have since put well over $10K in additional things on the car (almost all of it done through West Coast Viper.) $5K in wheels/tires, a new nitrous set up that has only been used during testing at West Coast Viper and the Dyno run they did where the car hit 782 RWHP and maxed out the torque reading on their dyno at 1000+ RWTQ. Actually, later that day on the way home I hit it too, and the tires spun like crazy in 3rd gear. The bottle (that West Coast Viper filled) is still in the car with the same amount of Nitrous from that day (never been refilled since they installed the Nitrous kit.)
Anyway, I was thinking of going for a 2001 Red RT/10 instead. I think my car, with the side pipes and new wheels, front splitter, rear wing and everything else, makes it look absolutely awesome, but I want something I can drive around town without setting off car alarms, something with electric windows, and just more quiet. I have a DLM car coming that I am hoping will have even more power than this one, so I will STILL have a beast for a car -- no need for two.
If somebody is interested in a trade of some kind, let me know. I'm, really only interested in swapping my red Gen I for a R E D Gen II with ABS brakes. My car is free and clear.
If nobody is interested, I may just sell it off for what I can and then buy the car I want. Then again, I'm in no hurry, as I really do like this car, and if I change out the front race brakes so they are not so squeely, I may change my mind.
