1) Corrcet, do NOT resurface the Viper flywheel. Warrantee replacement for free is a very good price! Labor for free, ditto!

2) Ypu should not replace the clutch disk alone. Replace the pressure plate/disc in combination. The list price for the clutch/pressure plate is about $528. PartsRack can ship to your dorr for significantly less.....E-me.

3) Your throw-out bearing may be worn. What does the installer say? That could be $275 more from Dodge....a lot less from PartsRack.

4) Consider: Since the labor is "free" there is no better time to accept the new OEM flywheel in a box, and install instead a high-perf ALUMINUM FLYWHEEL! With much less rotating mass, your revs come up faster, and the Viper sees lower trap times in the 20mph-120mph range. And, instead of replacing an entire flywheel next time, you will a) replace inserts for $100; or b) still have a new OEM flywheel in a box! E-me
