Gen 1 vs. Gen 2 Fresh Air Plenum

Hello All,
Can anyone tell me with certainty, whether or not the Fresh Air Plenum from a 96 Gen 2 will be a direct fit on my 95 Gen 1? My is damaged and I would like a temporary replacement for it until I can fix mine. Thank you for the help.

I'm not certain, but I think it might fit in a pinch. The G2 plenum is wider to the rear. Part of it hangs outboard of the footbox to connect to a flapper valve plenum that is where the ECUs are mounted on the Gen 1s.
