Gen 4 cam

Heard from my Mopar/Viper guy that the Gen 4 cam timing was advanced 6
degrees to move the torque to a higher rpm and that there is a lot of power
available by moving it back to 0. He got this from a friend who had something
to do with the 8.4 engine development. Supposedly the drive train guys did
this for warranty reasons. Any thoughts?

He was telling me that the owner of the local Dodge dealer wants him to try the
zero option on an 08 they still have on the floor, along with some other mods.
Says it should be pretty easy and much cheaper than changing the cam.

I think they best place to ask that question would be in the SRT Q&A forum here. It won't be answered till March 3rd, but you'll likely get the best answer available.
