Was just reading about the Viper on Wikipedia

There was no mention of the 96 RT/10 as being a Gen I or Gen II model.

Is the 96 RT/10 a Gen I or Gen II vehicle?

The Generation label was not given by the factory. It is an owner/public label. As far as the factory is concerned they made transitional changes from year to year.
