I just got a set of heads back from Greg for my Gen1 ROE project. First off, Greg is a real stand-up guy. I highly reccomend him if you're thinking about head work.
In my case, the car hadn't had the head gaskets replaced. So, before the SC goes on, they need replacing. If you're a Gen1 guy and still need them done, it's a perfect opportunity to really beef the heads up. The CAM is also a stone's throw away at that point, which is what I had done. Essentially, you're only going to pay for the parts, because 90% of the labor will be done taking the heads off to replace the gaskets. Save your pennies and do it. Many a Gen2 car has made 500+RWHP with heads, headers, and cam. With the 708 CAM and heads like Greg's, you're in that range. Sadly,(but not too sadly) I won't be able to dyno the results without the SC. I'm having all of it done at once. Dyno results for the full package in early March.
Here's why I'm so happy with the heads. Check out these flow numers. These are better than most of the Gen2 head work I've seen out there, and right up there with the best. I wouldn't have expected my Gen1 heads to flow up with the best of the Gen2's, but here they are. I'm a happy camper.
Intake
.200" = 135cfm
.300" = 202cfm
.400" = 243cfm
.500" = 282cfm
.600" = 305cfm
Exhaust
.200" = 121cfm
.300" = 165cfm
.400" = 205cfm
.500" = 226cfm
.600" = 235cfm
