Going to fix my lighter , what are the steps to taking off the stereo surround piece?

My lighter is dead, and the fuse is good.

I am going to guess the connection at the rear vibrated off.

I see its the radio surround that needs to get removed?

Any tips or steps to taking this piece off? I have a bad habit of pulling until something breaks thinking the clips are " just about to break free " .

Do I have to take another trim piece off in order to get to the radio one ... things like that.

If I need a new "socket well" piece ( female piece ) , is it just a standard 7/8" universal one I need to get? I may get one beforehand.
