My Gen I leaked like a sieve. Does anyone remember the VOI at Nashville a few years back, during the monsoon???? I sure do!!

During one trip in the Gen I with my son, a sudden thunderstorm drenched us notwithstanding all the towels I carried just in case of such an emergency. Two bikers in foul weather gear passed us and my son pointed out that they were probably dryer than we were.

Anyway, I was on a 400 mile trip yesterday in my SRT 10 and the heavens let loose. I fully expected to get drenched again, but the car was absolutely watertight. It was such a pleasant surprise that I had to post it...

Then there's hope for my 2005. It's leaking both sides while I wash it. Hopefully new molding will fix the problem.

Andrew........

I know this sounds basic, but are you sure your windows are closing the last 1/4" or so? This should occur automatically after the door is closed and seals the window to the top.

Good luck.....

Kind of a lame product here but it does have some advantages: Mr Cleans (supposed) spot free car wash gun. You've seen the commercials. I got the thing because it has an inline filter which keeps hard water, Iron etc... out, but the other nice thing is it puts out a low pressure stream that won't allow you to blast seals and force water in. The spot free shine is a joke but the gun and filter are in some cases worth the $20 bucks from autozone.
