I got a G-Tech Pro for X-Mas. I had the first model they came out with and liked it O.K. This new model is great!!!! It will give you your 60ft, 0-60, 8th and quarter times. It also gives you your HP and Torque ATRW. It gives you your G-forces on acceleration and cornering. Somehow the thing can figure out your RPM's from plugging it in to the cigarette lighter and it is accurate. If you guy's haven't checked it out got to G-TECH PRO.com. This new model will download to your computer and you can print out graphs of your run like a dyno. I can't tell you everything about it on the forum, but check it out. The company will even give you free upgrades for the first three years you own it. I drag race and I know these things aren't perfect, but I think this thing is worth owning. I made a few runs today with no traction in 1st with Pilots. I ran 12.98 at 103mph. I thought my MPH would be a little better than that.I quess I'll have to wait for summer for better traction.

Viper1994,
I got one for Xmas as well. I have the old version, but haven't tried this new Competition one yet. Looks pretty cool. The 3-axis accelerometers ought to take care of the biggest problem with the old unit which was it was very directional and had to be positioned 'just so' to get repeatable results.

I've been trying to come up with a way to permanently mount it without just suctioning it to the window (I hate suction cups), but haven't come up with any clever ideas. I tried mounting it in one of the air ducts, but it's a little too big. Now I'm eyeing the left side of the dash by the A-Pillar. I just don't want to drill any holes if I can avoid it, but it may come down to that.

Did yours come with the PC software? Mine didn't and I haven't gotten a response to my email from GTech yet on whether it should have been included for free or not.
