Got me a windows based tablet for the VEC

Picked up an Acer Iconia W500 tablet running win 7 home and love it! Basically wanted it for street tuning the VEC, and it works perfectly.

It comes with a keyboard docking station that is handy for reviewing logs and such after. Has a dual core processor and 2 gigs of ram. Couple this with my iphone acting as a wireless hotspot, there is nothing I can't do in the car.

How did you manage using your iphone as a router??? did you have to gail-break??

Good stuff, I ended up picking up a small netbook to do my logging. Sits under my seat .

Go to "settings" then "personal hotspot" and turn it on. It will show up as a wireless connection on anything with a wifi card. It's the bomb. Be careful that your cell provider doesn't charge you extra. My usage counts towards my data allotment.
