There was a post a little while ago regarding a group purchase on clear side markers, what happened? Did I miss the boat? Also, there was someone saying you can purchase the exact same ones that are used for a trailer for 5 bucks, any truth to this?

If I can get them for 5 bucks, and avoid international shipping, I will. If I have to pay 40bucks plus $22for shipping, plus 15% tax, plus brokerage fees....than I'll do that too. I'm checking out my options, why you being a ball breaker?

ahhh... didnt know you were a foreigner ;-)

Got ya.. yeah, it adds up, especially when you consider its a $2 part, with major viper tax.

Anyways, good luck with it... least we kept the thread at the top :)

How hard are they to install do you have to take the wheel well panel off to get behind, or can you install them from the outside?

easy as heck. cut the wheel to the right all the way (for the left side blinker) and look inside the wheels well forward the tire. you will see a 5 inch circular access panel which pops out and allows a hand in the area needed to remove the blinks out. turn the wheel opposite for the alternate side to access blinker. good luck.

i think the guy posting about trailer lights working was kidding. i bought ebay ones and they look incredible

Actually, you can get blinkers in the trailer section at Wal-mart that fit perfectly...however, they are amber like the originals, not clear. For those looking for OEM replacements for dirt cheap, Walmart is the way to go.
